Training Sessions

  • Our classes are presented once per month (see schedule), on the most recently released version of the software.
  • Note that Customer Care Onboarding is separately scheduled per customer.

Web UI Configuration

This course covers the configuration of MediaBeacon via the web application user interface.

Prerequisites

  • Each attendee must watch the Basic Web UI Functionality video prior to the class sessions to develop a grounding in MediaBeacon functionality.
  • Each attendee must able to complete configuration exercises during class sessions. Attendees will log into a provided instance of MediaBeacon to perform configuration tasks to demonstrate comprehension.

Customer Care Onboarding Session

This course familiarizes certified users with the Customer Care system, and provides an account for them.

Syllabus

Course consists of one session, covering the following topics.

Customer Care System

  1. Who can register help cases (Certified Users)
  2. When you'd want to register a help case ('Tier 1' support model)
  3. Where to register help cases (channels: online, call, email)
  4. Best practices for registering help cases (how: Dos, Don'ts)
  5. Walk-through on how to register a help case, how to follow up on existing ones
  6. Discuss help case lifecycle, show swimlanes
  7. Discuss SLAs, expectations and responsibilities of the customer(remote access requirements, demoing issues, workarounds)
